I had such a wonderful time joining FOX 9 Good Day to talk about my newest children’s book, Dash Makes a Splash!
During the segment, I shared a little about the inspiration behind Dash — a tiny water droplet who doesn’t believe he matters or belongs until his small splash creates a ripple.
At the heart of the story is a message I hope children carry with them: you are never too small to matter or make a difference. Even our smallest actions can create ripples, and when we come together, those ripples can grow into something much bigger.
We also talked about the SEL + STEM connection woven throughout the story, as Dash travels through the water cycle while going on a journey of his own toward belonging, courage, and recognizing his worth.
